Rate listed is Passport America. Our pull-through was easy to drive into and out of. Plenty of room left on the site to drop the trailer tailgate and drive the car out and then park it in front of the motorhome. We called the number listed and the phone was immediately answered. The manager was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. This campground is very close to Savannah. Wi-Fi worked well.

We stopped here due to the previous reviews and because it was easy access off the highway. The previous reviews are accurate. This campground is a gem. We camped in a motorhome towing a 30' trailer so needed a CG with long pull-thru's. Theirs are huge. We were in an open grassy area so our sat. worked good. Roads are clear with no trees so easy to drive throughout the park. The bass lake next door is beautiful. Wish we had the grand-kids with us.

We were in one of the new pull thru's. This was a premium site and the cost was $49/nite plus tax. This struck us as very steep for what you get. Wifi was available at an additional charge of $4.95/day. Our Verizon Wireless card worked great. The pull through required us to disconnect the toad because it was short. Our sewer connection was 3 feet from the adjacent picnic table and our slide was over one side of that table. The neighbors slide on our door side was over our picnic table. His sewer connection is right beside our table. Our satellite connection worked good. There are no fire rings in the area around us. We have a slight view of a mountain. The park is fairly close to rt. 25 and is easy to get to. It abuts a main road but seems quiet.

This is not the prettiest park we have ever stayed in but the choices in Carlsbad are limited. The KOA is possibly a bit nicer but it's a very long way from the Caverns. It's really the best bet for seeing Carlsbad Caverns. That said, it's all dirt and gravel so when it's hot it gets a tad dirty. The wifi is non existent except at the office. I really don't know why so many parks advertise wifi and then don't have it. The pool is indoor and although we didn't use it, it looked OK. We paid $3 extra for a 50 amp site and the 50 amps was not usable. One leg was OK the other was 104 VAC with out a load on it. We did survive on one leg of the 50 amp service. Again, it's not the best we've ever stayed at but when we visit Carlsbad in the future we'll be staying here.

Price reflects standard site and AAA discount. The people who run the facility are nice and they were helpful. The park is clean and easy to navigate. It is right on the water and the beach, although small, is very nice. We would stay there again.

This is one of the best parks we have ever stayed at. The people were nice and helpful. The sites are all large and very easy to pull into. There are trees but not in the way of any motorhomes. The wifi actually worked well. The had a meat (spelling is correct) and greet that was hosted by very friendly work campers that we attended. The area it's in is very pretty and we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay there again.

If they had been honest about the condition of the park I would have given it a 7. The views are very good. Restrooms and laundry are clean and nice. Sites are very large with services in the appropriate spots. The pads are gravel but nicely compacted. There was one other camper in the park, which may explain the run down feeling of the place. The negatives. The pool was filthy. There were little things swimming around in it. They raked the pool when we mentioned things were living in it, but they should have shocked it. It's away from the park, but it's not a bad drive. The WiFi is non-existent. You can see their hot spot, but there is no real connection to the Internet. Our air card worked well but it was a slow connection. The bar and restaurant in the resort were so-so. Would not eat or drink there again. A high spot of the trip was a recommendation from a local. It is called La Kiva and features food, drink and a fantastic guitar player and singer. It's in Terlingua, just after the turn to Lajitas.

Convenient to the Finger Lakes and Watkins Glen. The sites are all good size and spread out. They have quite a few long pull thru's. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Some sites are wooded. Ours was open. I would have rated this park a 10 if they had free Wi-Fi. They do provide it free for an hour, but that gets cumbersome if you want to check the news twice a day.

We camped here one night in a 45' motorhome on the way up north. It's a great overnite stop on 75. The park is clean and easy to get into for a big rig. We paid $21 which is the Passport America rate.

Just as others have said. Convenient to Rte 95 and shopping malls. Sites were paved but pavement is somewhat narrow. We had a site that easily accommodated our 45' MH with motorcycle on a lift and toad (site C-6). They advertise wifi but was too weak at this site to work - which is right in the middle of the park. It's a nice, clean and well cared for park.

Rate was $40/night less a 10% AAA discount. We stayed all the way down the hill, right by the tidal basin, in spot 82. The the campground is maintained extremely well. Everything was very clean. Each site has a barrel for trash which is picked up daily. The sites by the tidal basin don't have sewer connections and only have 30 amps. The view is beautiful and there is a nice hiking trail close to this site, that goes around an island just offshore. Larger sites are up the hill on a flat treeless area and full hookups but no view. We will be staying there again.

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Bryce and Zion. We covered both parks with day trips from Cedar City. This KOA is nice and the owner is friendly. We didn't see any signs of Cappuccino, fudge or pizza and would have loved to try some. Our MH and toad are 75 feet long and there was lots of room left over on our pull through. The cable selection was somewhat sparse but acceptable. Our site had grass and shade trees. We would stay here again.

Nice park, a couple of miles off Route 65. Had a 72 foot long pull through site. Enjoyed the nature trail that goes down along the river. Also enjoyed visiting Bardstown to check out Makers Mark and Heavens Hill distilleries. Didn't have cable as it was $3/day extra and then found we had no satellite reception. They have Patio sites for another $10/day, but all you got was a small cement pad(not under the MH) with chairs and a table on it. If you are just traveling up or down Rt. 65 and looking for a quick stop look at Grandma's RV 1 mile and 1 exit south. We drove around it and will stay there next time we need a quick overnighter in the area.

Small site right off the highway i.e. easy on easy off. Many of the sites are long pull thru's. All sites had a new pedestal with 50 amp and cable. Water and sewer close by. All convenient. We had a MH with Motorcycle lift on the back, towing a car so were pretty long. As we pulled in the owner came out and told us to find a site and pull in then check in later. Very nice of him. He has a building with check-in and a small store for RV supplies and a laundry and bath area. Across the hall which is used for the free continental breakfast is a Mexican restaurant that was quite good. Next morning the water line was frozen. The owner ran out with hot water to get things unthawed. No trees, and not a resort environment, but a fantastic stop coming or going on Rt. 44. Although the highway is close, there is a hill or berm between the highway and the park that subdues the noise. We slept well. We would stay there again.

We stopped here because Woodalls rates this park 5 stars. It is 3 stars. It is convenient to I-70 when crossing Colorado. There are no sewer hookups in the transient section. Only sewer hookups are for seasonal. I was looking high and low for the hookup when my neighbors said there aren't any. None of us was told no sewer in advance. They cut their stay to one night as a result. In addition to no sewer there is no cable TV. Only water and electric. Sites are rough gravel and there are no shade trees. $42/nite for water and electric is not competitive. On the positive, the area around the park is beautiful. It is located in a verdant valley of the Colorado River. Would I stay here again. Probably. It's the only game in town for miles around. If it's stopping time and you're in the area, it's a no brainer. I wouldn't plan a trip to this "RV resort".

We spent 2 days at the Wild Duck and had a beautiful back-in site with a nice view of the marsh. Very convenient to Portland. Very quiet and well maintained. Owners very friendly. WIFI wasn't enabled for a while and signal was somewhat weak, but it worked fine. Roads are well maintained, sites fairly level with some pull-thru's and some back-in's.

This campground has recently changed hands. New owners are very nice and trying to make gradual improvements to the park. We stayed at the campground in a 45 foot coach and fit easily into a pull thru space on the hill overlooking the small pond. The rollings hills of New York were beyond the lake. It was early in the season and we could see that the majority of the campground was seasonal. It is very convenient to I-88 and we would definitely stay there again.
